Kari (as her mother Doris calls her) was a graduate from Murray State University with a BS in Agriculture and majoring in Animal Health Technology.   She married and is survived by her husband Rick, June 19,1987.  They raised and trained Collies at their home and both were involved in martial arts.  Kari was a doting aunt to her niece and nephew, so much so that people often thought they were her own children.
